My Trip to Los Angeles for the #havefunphotoshoot with Shop Bando!
I am not a model.
The pictures I take for this blog with @hello_miss_lovely are for self expression, because I enjoy creating outfits and most importantly, IT’S FUN! So when Shop Bando emailed me saying they wanted to fly me out to L.A. for a photo shoot, you could say I had a panic attack.
Before I left for L.A., I had a lot of arrangements to make: booking plane tickets and car rental; outfit planning with Autumn; PTO for work…I talked with Bando girl gang, Kelly, on the phone about expectations and she made me feel right at home!
Keep in mind this was my FIRST time visiting the state of California as well as flying without my husband. I was a nervous wreck but also completely excited that I was picked for this opportunity.
From the minute I touched down in L.A. til the minute we flew back home, every experience I had in Cali was life changing and I am so happy that I got to enjoy it all with Autumn. Literally, there are no words to explain how grateful I am for this opportunity. It’s definitely going down as one of my favorite moments of ALL TIME.
Thank you, Bando, for showing this Mississippi gal that all my hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. I am forever grateful.
