My Top 9 Most Used Beauty Products

I am a creature of habit when it comes to my makeup routine. I tend to use the same products every single day, but that’s because I really believe in them! I wanted to give you a look at my favorite clean beauty products – straight out of my makeup – bag as well as tell you why they continue to be a part of my every day routine. As always, ask me questions. I’m happy to answer them!
Sienna Byron Bay Nail Polish
THE ONLY benzophenone-1 free polish ON THE MARKET. Vegan, cruelty free and dries fast. I just love this polish so much. I'll never wear another. It's expensive at $25 a bottle, but mine seem to last forever and you can't beat the cleanest polish on the market! I buy mine either directly from the site or on OrganicBunny. She has crazy fast shipping and you don't have to pay international fees!
Aether Beauty Rose Quartz eyeshadow
Ok, ok, ok. This one is a top favorite, too. It's tied with my Vapour foundation. I am not crazy about cream eyeshadows, specifically RMS eye polish. Not even 2 minutes after I apply RMS eye polish does it crease. I've tried primer, and I'm just not a fan. This is by far the best eyeshadow I've ever worn. It stays on ALL DAY - primer or no primer - and is richly pigmented. I started with the Rose Quartz palette and also have the Summer Solstice palette! I can't say enough about this eyeshadow.
Kjaer Weis lip gloss
I like to play up my eyes a lot. I don't do crazy stuff with eyeliner, but moreso with eyeshadow. I like to use eyeshadows with pinks, oranges, nudes, purples and browns (more on that in a moment) which means a lot of the time, my lips are a neutral shade. This Kjaer Weis lip gloss looks amazing for fall when paired over RMS lip to cheek in "Elusive". It also looks great on it's own which is how I wear it most of the time! My favorite color is Treasure, a pale coral nude gloss. The best part about this gloss? It's creamy. Not sticky. Main Ingredients: Castor seed oil, rosehip seed oil, sunflower seed oil. Free of petroleums, parabens and silicones.
Basalt sweet mint lip balm
I love lip balm. Ask me what three things I'd take on a deserted island, and lip balm would be one of them. That's saying A LOT considering I'm only left with two choices of which I'd have to choose between my iPhone, SLR or laptop. See where I'm going with this?! I love that Basalt is made in the USA. The light mint flavor gives a cooling feel, but the balm doesn't feel like a balm. It feels like a gloss! OOH. Ingredients: Ingredients: Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Cera Alba (Beeswax), Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Vanilla Planifolia (Vanilla) Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E).
Ursa Major deodorant
Most people that make the switch to clean beauty aren't crazy about the deodorant options because they don't mask the smell as efficiently as those on grocery store shelves. Answer: they're not supposed to. Armpits have tons of lymph nodes whose primary purpose is to expel toxins from the body. By covering up it's necessary function, you're not only exposing those lymph nodes to carcinogens, but you're increasing your risk of cancer. Your Dove/Secret/Degree deodorant has one ingredient that blocks your ducts - ALUMINUM - and this aluminum has been found in breast cancer cells! MAKE THE SWITCH. This isn't something you wanna mess around with. I love the Ursa Major application. A lot of clean deodorants are tacky or really thick. This glides on. I also LOVE the smell. It's a fresh unisex smell that works for everyone. Both my husband and I wear it. Main ingredients: Baking soda, Eucalyptus, Hops, Kaolin, Aloe. No petrochemicals, SLS, SLES, parabens, synthetic fragrance or color, glycols, silicones or PEGs.
Vapour Beauty Soft Focus Foundation
If I had to choose ONE, there’s no question that it would be my Vapour Beauty Foundation. Think about it: foundation is something you wear most every day. This foundation is light and makes my skin glow, and it’s actually doing wonders for my skin with frankincense, tulsi and lotus! It also has the largest collection of shades that I’ve seen. To help you choose your shade, I’m 123S in the fall/winter/spring and 125S in the summer if I’ve been in the sun a lot. They no longer offer samples but their products are eligible for return of exchange within 30 days! Anytime I've recommended this foundation to others, they've always come back telling me how much they love it.
Fitglow Beauty Good Lash Mascara
I've tried 5 different clean mascaras and this is by far my favorite. I like the thick pinecone brush, and I don't feel like I have to dig the tube for product. A lot of other mascara brushes I've tried feel dry to me. Main Ingredients: Vegetable collagen, horsetail plant, rice bran wax, lupine protein. Vegan and cruelty free.
RMS Lip to Cheek
For 10 years, I've worn powder blush. There's nothing wrong with that, I just didn't know what I was missing with cream blush. I feel that the pigment is richer with cream blush. I also like that I can control application with my fingertips. I haven't tried other cream blushes on the market because this one does the trick for me. I like their brighter coral "Paradise" shade for spring and summer, and their darker "Illusive" berry nude shade for fall and winter. Main ingredients: Coconut oil, Castor, Beeswax, Shea butter, jojoba, Cocoa, Sunflower, Rosemary.
