Beach Day

People often ask us if we go to the beach a lot since we live in Florida (and it’s only 2 miles away). Sadly, we don’t! I’m not a fan of laying in the sand and sweating during the summer. If you’re a Florida resident, you get what I mean. In the summer, it’s so humid here that it’s basically pointless putting on makeup. But I love the beach during winter which is why we took a little detour and soaked in the rays.  Boy, was it chilly!
I cherish these moments with Tyler.
I love vintage clothes and I feel the same about vintage styled pictures, too. I felt these pictures had a “polaroid” feel to them and I adore the simplicity of them all. I hope they take you somewhere far away today.

So cute. I love the filmy, vintage look to them too! We lived in Charleston for a few years and going to the beach in the cold season was my favorite!

I am so glad you agree! I think something about cold wind on your face in a sweater, and your toes in the cold sand is magical! 🙂

Heather, we hope you love Florida!! Definitely stop at the beach while you’re here and tell me all about it! 🙂 Ps. bring a coat! The humidity makes the weather unbearable here. Feels like ice on your face! haha!

I like the vintage style. and I’m jealous of your beach when we have been having -38 degree temps with the wind chill and LOTS of snow. I need a vacation 🙂
